The passive – aggressive post
Hi everyone, welcome to the Miss Smidge blog.
You see there is something called statcounter, it tells me lots of things about the people who read my blog and when i suddenly get an extra 100 or so hits a day i start to wonder who you are. If you are new to blogging you might not know this but Blogs are reciprocal things, you read, you say Hi and make yourself known as a reader, especially if you dont want to make me feel I have a stalker.
Anyways, enough of the passive-aggressiveness i’m not sure how many of my readers have made it over here from the old place (and how many got lost on the way) so this is your chance to say hello and make yourself known – I like Miss Smidge to be a community you see.
Not just somewhere to read some gossip from my world
Miss S x

Do I need to comment? Really?
x

Ha! No, you don’t.
Sorry just a bit freaked out by the person reading for the last 2 days, you know how it feels!

I certainly do. I have various people who obsessively read my blog. No idea who they are!

Oh hello there Miss Smidge, and what a lovely blog you’ve got over here. It’s much more shiny than the old place.
I don’t want but perversely do want a blog stalker…just yanno, because someone reading me would be lovely!

Haha, when you first start blogging you are desperate for readers, then there comes a time when you have a few and you are happy and then come the stalkers and you start to freak out and want to go private!

Half of those bloggers are only commenting in the hope that either the famous blogger comes to their site or that they will get new readers through them. Nothing to do with the quality of the site or the writing. Sometimes I go over to someone’s site and just think whut? Do you really deserve that…

As you know, I’ve been there myself. Sooo unsettling!

I’m still reading. Although not normally from here statcounter fans – normally read through Google Reader – so you can strike me off your stalker list :p)!
I get excited when my stats spike above 10, getting more than 100 and I’d be out celebrating! Hope you find out who it is though.

Hi Missy,
I still like to read your stuff, but don’t always feel I’ve got anything interesting to say, and I find it hard to ramble for the sake of it. I’m also a lazy git, so don’t hit the keyboard anywhere near enough to be considered a ‘proper’ blogger. Plus, I have to say, it often seems you’re after a more girl oriented input, (please forgive me if I’m wrong).
I promise the next time I think I’ve written something you might appreciate, I’ll let you know and eagerly anticipate your views.
Currently nursing a sore side after an alcohol and ice induced injury(ies), after a heavy session, and cooking shepherds pie for la famille, that’s about as exciting as it gets at the mo!!
Hope you find your festive ‘spirit’ soon, wishing you a beautiful spangles, glitter n bows chrimbo, and that cosy fireside chat with Papa, (glass filled of course).
Speak again in 2010
